The history of the pioneer movement in the Slonim region knows many pioneers who fearlessly fought against the enemies of the Motherland during the war. Their names are now an example for all children.
On the territory of the Slonim region, 6 partisan detachments operated, which later united into the brigade of K.K. Rokossovsky. Together with the adults, the pioneers began to fight. They distributed leaflets, collected and handed over weapons to the partisans, monitored the movement of troops, were messengers, and participated in battles.
10 pioneers fought in the Burevestnik partisan detachment. One of them was our fellow countryman Sasha Lysukha . Once in winter, the chastisers surrounded the partisans. A fight ensued. Sasha killed a German officer with a well-aimed shot. Having lost their commander, the Germans began to retreat. So Sasha helped to win the fight. For this, gratitude was announced to him. After the war, Alexander worked at the KBZ in Albertina. He died in 1976.
Zinaida Savitskaya is a living witness of the death of the inhabitants of the village of Okuninovo. She was shot twice by the Nazis on December 25, 1942, but survived to tell people about the bloody tragedy. For helping the partisans, the Nazis drove all the inhabitants of the village and drove them to the forest. There them shot. The Germans passed by the fallen and finished off the wounded. The fascist noticed that Zina was alive, picked her up and stitched her with an automatic burst. Zina woke up at night. She was picked up by the partisans and cured. On that terrible day, 299 villagers were killed, and the Nazis burned the village. Zina became a partisan intelligence officer. More than once she went to Masilovichi, Devyatkovichi, looked out and memorized the location of the enemies. After the war, Zinaida Mitrofanovna Savitskaya (now Teryokhina) did not return to the scene of the tragedy. She lived and worked in Slonim.
12 - year old Vanya and 15 - year old Sergei Timofeychiki fought in the partisan detachment named after. F.E. Dzerzhinsky. Before the war, they lived in the village of Goli. After the cartel action, they went to the partisans. They collected weapons, went on reconnaissance. Each of they kept their battle score fascists. Once Sergei Timofeychik stole eight horses with all their equipment from the Germans. The partisans praised him greatly for this. Sergei distinguished himself in reconnaissance on the Kozlovshchina - Slonim highway, making his way through the chain of punishers. Vanya went to reconnaissance in Zachepichi, where the enemy garrison was stationed. His information helped the partisans to defeat the garrison. The brothers fought in the detachment for two years. On their account were tens of meters of destroyed German communications, went to the "piece of iron". After the liberation of Slonim, they returned to their village. Sergey Antonovich worked as a meliorator in the Slonim region, Ivan Antonovich as a crane operator at a cement plant. Both brothers Timofeychiki were awarded medals "Partisan of the Patriotic War", "For Victory over Germany."
A 13-year-old boy from the village of Komlevichi, Seryozha Khavtur, helped the partisans to establish a crossing of the Shchara River. He collected weapons, took them from the bottom of the river and handed them over to the partisans. He then became a partisan scout. He went to Senkovshchina, where the German garrison was located. For quick wit and resourcefulness, the partisans loved Seryozha and often took him to risky operations. Serezha Khavtur fought for two years, bringing the victory closer. After Great Patriotic War Sergei Ivanovich Khavtur worked in the collective farm "October" Slonim region. Awarded with medals "Partisan of the Patriotic War", "For Victory over Germany".
By the fall of 1942, the Kokoschino underground was one of the most active in the region. The pioneer Nikolai Dobriyan actively helped the underground workers. Young people collected weapons in the forest. The Nazis found out about this and were allowed to go to the forest only with passes. Kolya took out a pass and together with the guys I went to collect weapons. The good, fit for battle, was hidden, and the broken was brought to the Germans. The underground workers carried out an operation to destroy the enemy line - they destroyed 25 km. communication. Distributed by Kolya leaflets. Underground prevented the hijacking of young people to Germany. Those who received the summons were urgently sent to the detachment. A young partisan took part in many military operations. Was injured. In July 1944, the detachment met with the Red Army. Nikolai Vladimirovich Dobriyan lived in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) after the war. Vasya Misko lived on a farm near the village of Chemery. This farm has become real partisan base. Vasya became a messenger for the partisans. I was distributing leaflets around villages, delivered them to the city. One night in the center of Slonim on the map, which the Nazis hung out for public viewing, where they boasted of their "successes" near Moscow, he hung the flags and pasted a leaflet. In the morning, all the people read it and learned about the defeat of the Germans near Moscow. In the partisans, he joined the ranks of the Komsomol, ended the war in the ranks of the Red Army. He fought for three years. Awarded with medals: "For Military Merit", "Partisan of the Great Patriotic War II degree."
Misha Fidrik lived in the village of Zachevye. At the age of 14, he became a partisan intelligence officer. In 1942, after the death of his father, he went to the partisan detachment. N. Shchorsa. Participated in the defeat of the fascist garrison in Kossovo. Then he became a demolition man. Often went out together with a group of demolitions to the "piece of iron" in the Volkovysk region - Baranovichi, Brest-Baranovichi. Not one enemy train derailed from partisan mines. During the blockade, the Nazis burned the inhabitants of the villages of Zalesye and Zalesye. Misha's mother, grandmother and sister were killed in Zachshye. Misha avenged the enemy for them.
After the war, Mikhail Alexandrovich Fidrik worked as a teacher at SPTU - 189, was awarded medals: "For Courage", "Partisan of the Great Patriotic War of the 1st degree", "For Victory over Germany." Mikhail Alexandrovich worked hard. In 1986 he was awarded the Veteran of Labor medal.
Fedor Yakimets joined the partisan detachment in August 1942 from the village of Yagneschitsy. He took part in the defeat of the garrison in Ruda Yavorskaya - this was his baptism of fire. Then there were other operations: the capture of a German convoy, ambushes on the highway, the defeat of the Samahovy garrison in Natskovo. In the partisans, Fyodor Yakimets became a member of the Komsomol. After the war, he worked on the collective farm "May Day" and lived in the village of Yagneschitsy. He was awarded the medal "Partisan of the Great Patriotic War II degree" and other military awards.
Before the war, Gena Pudilov came with his parents to the native village of Lamb's father . But the war began. Father went to the front, mother and Gennady failed to evacuate. When they returned to the Slonim region, they learned that the Nazis had shot their father. Gene was 13 years old. He found B.A. Bulat's partisan detachment. The commander left him in the detachment. So he became a scout. Disguised as a shepherd boy and walked through the villages. Once at the post, he detained a German spy who wanted to know the location of the partisans. Participated in undermining enemy trains, destroying telephone communications. At the age of 14, he was accepted into the ranks of the Komsomol for military service. Gena tried to justify the title of Komsomol member. Participated in all operations to defeat garrisons in Ruda Yavorskaya, Natskovo, Kozlovshchina, Talevichi, in the "rail war". For exemplary performance of tasks, Gennady Pudilov was awarded the Order of the Red Star and the medal "Partisan of the Great Patriotic War, 1st degree." After the war he became an officer in the Soviet Army. He lived in Minsk.
Vanya Dobriyan - in the fall of 1942, the Kokoschino underground workers handed weapons to the Soviet Belorussia partisans. Vanya Dobriyan especially distinguished himself. He handed over a machine gun and several rifles. Vanya knew well the device of the weapon, could disassemble and assemble with a blindfold. Knew the device of shells and bombs. "Vanya-miner" - that's what the guys called him. In the detachment to them. F.E. Dzerzhinsky, he took the oath and became a real fighter. Received baptism of fire during the defeat of the garrison in Pleshki. Once, after the explosion of the train while retreating near the village of Podstarino, the group stumbled upon an ambush. Vanya stayed behind to cover. He was wounded, he ran out of cartridges. Enemies walked openly. Vanya took out a revolver. The young hero kept the last patron for himself.
Zhenya Bokovets was born and raised in the small village of Khmelnitsa. He dreamed of becoming a pilot, but the war cut off all dreams. From the first days of the war, together with the guys, he began to harm the Nazis - they sawed off the pillars, broke the connection. Then he became a liaison in the "Sovetskaya Belorussia" detachment, went out to combat operations of the partisans: they took the loot from the Nazis, and derailed trains. On account of his 6 echelons, derailed. Once, while leaving the punitive forces, the reconnaissance near the village of Yurchiki stumbled upon an ambush. The scouts accepted the battle. Soon Zhenya was the only one left with the machine gun. The punishers crawled closer and closer, rose to their full height. “Get it, you bastards,” Zhenya shouted and threw a grenade. "I won't give up alive" - Zhenya decided and took out a Finnish knife. Zhenya Bokovets was forever enrolled in the lists of the pioneer squad of the Khmelnytsky school and was posthumously awarded the medal "for courage".
All the pioneers of our city know the name of Vasya Krainy . One of the streets of our city is named after him. Vasya Krainy lived in the village of Sergeevichi, studied at the Melkanovichi school. He also collected weapons, then came to F.E. Dzerzhinsky, where he was the commissar I. Ya. Dobriyan. He was enrolled in a machine-gun crew. Vasya, together with the partisans, blew up the trains on the stretch at the Ozernitsa station, smashed the garrison in Pleshki. In 1944, near the village of Glovsevichi, they ran into an ambush. Vasya was wounded, but the machine gun fired. The cartridges ran out, he was seized bloody by the Nazis and brought to Slonim, bandaged. The Nazis needed a live partisan to find out where the partisan camp was. Having regained consciousness, Vasya tore off the bandages. Life was leaving. Vasily Antonovich Krainy was posthumously awarded the medal "For Courage". The pioneer squad of the Melkanovich school bears his name.
Mother Evgenia Mikhailovna Savanets carefully keeps the news of the death of her sons: Fedya and Peter. Petya and Fedya grew up in the village of Kosteni in a large family. Their It was 10. On the third day of the war, the Germans came to the village. Senior Savantsy went into the forest. The family began to help the partisans: they baked bread. The Nazis found out about the family's ties with the partisans, they raided, but everyone managed to go to the partisans. Fedya and Peter became partisan scouts. They walked under the guise of shepherds, and scouted everything, were the eyes and ears of the partisans. In 1944, during the blockade of Lipichanskaya Pushcha, Father Fedya and Peter were ordered to withdraw 30 wounded partisans. Fedya and Peter went with their father. We were ambushed. All were injured. The wounded Peter and Fedya were captured by the Nazis and brought to Slonim. They were not forced to speak, neither beatings, nor persuasion, nor torture. Fedor was 15 years old, the youngest Petya was 11. Together with other prisoners, they were shot at Petralevichskaya Gora.
Kolya Sergeichik . He lived on the farmstead of Moshki, Slonim district (now Zelva district). The war began, and Kolya began to collect weapons. In 1942, he handed over his cache to the partisans and himself became a partisan of the P.I. Bulak. The young scout walked through the villages and learned from his peers about the enemy's dispositions. But there was a traitor who betrayed Kolya to the Germans. Going on a mission in the village of Savichi, Kolya went to the native farm of Moshki. Enemies surrounded and seized Kolya and his father. Father was released to bring commander Bulak, and Kolya was left hostage. The partisans tried several times to save Kolya, but to no avail. Kolya was brought to Savichi. For two days he was beaten and tortured. Kolya was silent. Having achieved nothing, bring him to the Slonim prison under a reinforced escort. Tortured here with a hot iron, they cut off their nails - Kolya was silent. The mother was brought to the cell and tortured both. But they were silent. The brave pioneer Sergeichik Kolya was buried in a mass grave near Slonim.
